Zack Ross is a published & award winning custom tattoo artist, and the owner of No Surrender Studios [formerly Live Electric Studios] just South of the Square at 142 S. LBJ. Zack started tattooing in Southern California in 2002 apprenticeing under Ian Hudgins. Zack helped to open 2 shops in Southern California before moving to Texas in early 2008. Jorge has been practicing art since 1998.  He has a background in theater, photography, music and martial arts and has participated in 3 short films.  Jorge became a professional tattoo artist in 2001. So far,he has 4 awards and has been published in Hyperspace Studio's "Scratch Art" book, front page of Brownsville Herald newspaper and in a few magazines--Tattoo International, Flash Mag, Savage, Crave, Tattoo, and a few more... Jorge loves his work and the people he works with.

Tye Harris has been tattooing since 2006. He started his carreer in San Antonio, TX; where he worked in multiple shops before moving to No Surrender Studios in San Marcos, TX. After coming to No Surrender Studios, Tye began to grow as an artist and develop his own style, specializing in portraits and black and grey realism.

Billy Weigler, an up-and-coming tattoo artist at No Surrender Studios, started tattooing as an apprentice under the skilled direction of Zack Ross. As an artist, Billy enjoys painting and watercolor, as well as various other artistic forms. He is devoted to the pursuit of perfection, and that ambitious quality is prominent in each of his pieces. Always improving and bettering his technique, Billy shows great potential and is determined to leave his mark on the world.

Brandon Lantz has been at No Surrender Studios for well over a year now and tattoos under the guidance of his mentor, Zack Ross.  Brandon currently works at both No Surrender shops six days a week, Monday through Saturday from 12pm - 10pm.  He loves traditional style artwork, watercoloring and generally things from the stranger side of life.

Bubba Ward, 25 years old and born and raised in San Antonio, Texas with his mother Sandra Simmons and brother Per Simmons. He is a self-taught tattoo artist who has been working as a professional tattoo artist for the past 6 years. He recently moved to San Marcos, Texas with his wife and son in 2004 where he worked for Mystic Marks for 4 years before moving to No Surrender Studios.

Evan Lovett, 25 years old, made a name for himself after tattooing for 4 years in New Jersey. Wanting to expand as an artist, Evan decided to move to San Marcos, Texas looking for new opportunities. Shortly after arriving in Texas, Evan found himself working for No Surrender Studios, where he felt he was better able to explore the boundaries and limitations of tattooing as a fine art as well as define himself as an artist.

Scott started his tattoo career as an apprentice at Tattoo Zoo, in North Austin, and found his way down to Atomic Tattoo, also in Austin.  A door opened at No Surrender Studios to jump on board, and explore other avenues of tattooing, while defining his style. Scott appreciates gearhead culture, pin-ups, and a twist between the realistic, and artistic. Kasey Burnham is one of two piercers at No Surrender Studios. She is 24 years old and loves books, booze, bananas, body piercings and beluga whales. After working behind the counter at a tattoo shop, a piercing apprenticeship presented itself. Since then she has been piercing for three years and has been with No Surrender Studios for nine months. Kasey is all about making sure each piercing is aesthetically pleasing and suits the client’s body appropriately. Safety and aftercare is definitely a priority of hers and client visits are always welcome!

Abe SCRAZY is a reputable pro-piercing artist from San Antonio, TX, apprenticed under SIDESHOW Frank.
